The listing that follows identifies, by number and title,
endorsements available to modify or otherwise attach to ISO's Mobilehome
Program which is an endorsement-based subset of their homeowners program. A

Coverage Analysis
ISO Homeowners Optional
Coverage Endorsements
Besides the availability of regular
HO program endorsements, several special mobilehome optional coverages exist
and are listed below. A brief explanation of the use of each is also provided.
MH 04 02–Actual Cash
Value—Mobilehome
This endorsement changes the Loss Settlement Condition in
the homeowners policy so that coverage is provided for the mobilehome on an actual cash value basis. This is a
reduction in coverage from the standard replacement cost valuation. This form’s
use may be more appropriate for older mobilehomes,
eliminating an incentive for the named insured to damage his or her own
property (for personal gain).
MH 04
03–Transportation/Permission to Move
This endorsement provides coverage while the mobilehome is being transported
from one location to another. The coverage is limited to no more than 30 days. The
only covered perils are collision, upset and stranding while on a ferry. The
endorsement also provides permission by the insurer for the insured to move the
mobilehome. When this
endorsement is used, it is important to change the premises address for the mobilehome on the basic policy
because it is obviously changing.
MH 04 04–Mobilehome Lienholder's Single Interest
Purchasing this endorsement for additional premium provides
coverage for the interest of the designated lienholder or his/her assignee with
respects to the covered mobilehome.

MH 04 06–Property
Removed Increased Limit
This simple form allows an insured to increase the protection
for handling expenses related to moving insured property out of the path of
imminent loss or destruction beyond the standard $500. The form includes space
to show the level of the increase as well as the resulting total insurance
limit.
MH 04 08–Ordinance Or
Law Coverage
Ordinance
or Law Coverage is not automatically included in a mobilehome policy. Coverage for ordinance or law may
be purchased by endorsement for additional premium.

(04 16 new)

on an ACV basis, except when the damage is more than the lesser of $2,500 or 5%
of the dwelling's insured value.
